The sky was resting from the mighty rain
That covered the night I first saw you,
When through the blinding lights you came
So high, there was nothing above you.
And the noise around us turned to quiet,
When like two bullets your eyes hit mine
For in those two seconds, all was silent,
As if you’d forever stopped the time.
Those shameless colors between us both,
They all got magically entwined
For a yellow fence was not enough
To keep your body from fitting mine.
Would it then be absurd, my love,
To wonder if you are still here,
When the softness of your voice
Still echoes in my ears…?
